PRICING AND TERMS

Pricing:
Although we have listed general pricing guidelines below, rates can greatly vary according to the complexity of the project, turnaround time, and frequency. of work. Although we are not "the cheapest in town", our prices reflect a quality and efficiency that is sometimes lacking at "busier" locations. If you have a specific budget allotment, I can advise you on how to get the most from your dollar. Various discount programs are available for large orders, new start-ups and portfolio collaborations- please contact me for details.

Requesting a quote: In order to quote you the best price possible, please let me know as much detail about your order as possible. We keep your information completely private, and can provide you with a Non-Disclosure statement upon request.

Placing your order: Each order is accompanied by a mutually signed Work Order/Contract that specifies the timeline of the project, work involved, pricing and a guaranteed delivery date.

Initial Consultation
An Introductory 30 minute consultation is free of charge to new customers that fill out our "New Customer Profile" and call for an appointment.

Technical Design & Consultation.
Technical Consultation: $35 per ½ hour. Minimum ½ hour.
These "question & answer" sessions average about 10 minutes for a simple design, 30 minutes average for more complex designs. During these sessions, the fee includes line drawings done by hand along with written specifications , sewing details and any notes . You are able to take them with you at the end of the session "as is". For an additional fee we can render them by computer using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel accordingly.

Computer Rendering:
Technical Line Drawings, Spec's and Sewing Instructions by computer using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel accordingly.
Flat rates quoted from $15 to $35 per style depending upon complexity

Patternmaking-----------------

Custom Patternmaking:
Rates are based off your pattern blocks and written specifications. If you do not have pattern blocks, we can develop a set for you at an extra charge, or your may purchase a set from our library. Patterns are delivered on plain paper with facecard. Electronic files are available for an extra fee in .DXF format. Fees include requested fit changes after test fit.

Flat rates for simple, symmetrical patterns. (A pair is considered one piece)
1 to 4 pieces- $35 to $45
5 to 8 pieces- $55 to $85
9 to 12 pieces- $85 to $125

Flat rates for complex and asymmetrical patterns. (A pair is considered one piece)
2 to 8 pieces- $75 to $150
9 to 12 pieces- $150 to $225
13 to 28 pieces- $225 and up

Preset Patterns from our library:  $15 and up.  Styles and sizes are limited.  Prices are as marked.  Patterns available for download and printing from your standard printer, or we can print them for you. 

Custom Pattern Blocks: $275 for Bodice, Sleeve, Skirt and Sheath. Additional $125 for pant block. Prices include muslin mock-up, fitting session with your model, pattern corrections and final muslin. Patterns delivered on plain paper and in digital .dxf format. Custom pattern blocks are your exclusive property. Custom blocks are FREE for pattern orders of $800 or more!

Preset Pattern Blocks from our library (sizes are limited): $75 for Torso and Sleeve $25 for Pant. A copy of the blocks are delivered electronically for you to do your own print, muslin test, and final corrections.
Pattern corrections and modifications of your existing patterns are charged at $75 per hour.

Sample cutting and sewing is $25 per hour, and a flat rate quoted based on how long we estimate it will take. A final fitting may be requested with the garment/item partially sewn to give you an opportunity for any minor changes before we finish it.

Fitting Sessions:
$35 per ½ hour. Minimum ½ hour with your model. Most styles take 10 to 15 minutes to fit and note corrections. Fitting sessions at your location are $100 per hour with your fit model. Additional trip charge may apply depending upon distance.
